Our mission

To build the next generation of purpose-built developer tooling to bend the curve on software quality and development velocity. We are starting with the problem of code review and quality control.

The role

As a Founding Senior Infrastructure engineer you’ll help us manage and improve how Mesa is delivered to end users. We manage our infrastructure with SST and deploy on AWS. You’ll be responsible for helping us scale this infrastructure, improve our job system, improve our observability, and help us build the most reliable product possible for our customers.

• Ben Warren - Ex-YC, engineer at Microsoft and Census

In addition to our team, Mesa is backed by top seed investors, including Aditya Agarwal (ex-CTO of Dropbox, early engineer at Facebook), Soleio Cuervo (ex-Head of Design at Dropbox, first designer at Facebook), Ethan Yu (Founder of Motion), and Boris Jabes (CEO & Founder of Census).

You’ll be a good fit if you…

• Love open source. a
• Understand the tech stack at a deep level. We use React, Tailwind, and Vite. You should have a deep understanding for how to optimize our component tree, improve our builds and delivery of the deployed bundle, and know the latest techniques in SSR and data syncing.
• Have worked with distributed systems. Velocity is the result of making smart tradeoffs.
